What is screening?

Would you ever want to meet someone without knowing

who they are,

what they look like,

or what their intentions may be?

Unless you’re a daredevil who enjoys the good, the bad, and the ugly, the answer is likely a resounding NO.

If the thought of submitting to the unknown makes you uneasy I ask you to place yourself in a provider’s shoes.

Screening is a process that providers utilize to ensure clients are safe to see and in some cases that the client is the appropriate fit for them to spend time with.

When a provider is asking for screening information, it’s best to submit it with no argument. (It’s my responsibility to tell you that your social security number is notappropriate to share with anyone.)

A percentage of workers are unable to screen being that they need as many bookings as possible. Requiring screening and/or deposits tends to cut inquiries, a result of the stigma & legal ramifications of hiring a sex worker. With survival sex workers being the most vulnerable group in the “whorearchy” it’s a risk worth taking to make ends meet.

I don’t recommend clients seek a provider who slacks on screening for obvious legal concerns that may ruin your reputation. (A shiny pair of cuffs may await you along with a felony charge in Texas...)

My hope is one day everyone within the industry will feel comfortable enough to screen and clients will stop the pushback.

When dealing with a professional (like myself) one has little to worry about regarding the information provided being used against you. Most screening information is discarded upon verification.
